At the end of June 2009, a group of strangers met at the base of Mt. Rainier with the dream of making it to the summit and back down.
Overcoming high altitude, crevasses, avalanche prone areas and falling rocks, the team reached the summit at 7:30am on July 1, 2009. In the process they formed a bond with the mountain and each other, learned a little bit more about themselves and defeated personal demons that challenged every foot they took.
