Harry Dodge is a trained biologist with over 30 years experience hiking and guiding on Kodiak Island. He is a master guide, author, and conservationist, who enjoyes welcoming guests from around the world to learn about Kodiak and the magnificent Kodiak bear. Brigid is a language teacher (teaches French, Spanish and ESL, studies German and Alutiiq) and assists Harry in the field. She is an active volunteer in the Kodiak community and loves sharing the beauty of Kodiak Island with guests each summer. (Reuben Dodge is our black lab.) Béatrice de Negri was the individual responsible for creating this book. After a wonderful Kodiak Treks trip with her family (Frédéric, Eduard, et Jean) and new friends, Franciane and Claudine, Béatrice, a very talented artist, created the book that inspired this one, her own personal souvenir of her trip with us (en français). She then worked tirelessly to assist us in making a book that reflects our program and mission. Merci mille fois, Béatrice!
