Not much is known about Nicholas Dove except that his son, Thomas Dove, Jr. was born in 1740 in Richmond County, North Carolina, in the New World and began the American family of Doves. It is likely that his wife, Anna Dorothy (last name unknown) and their children moved to Warren County, Georgia sometime after 1760.
