Contained within is a collection of digital studies for Effect Series, 2010.



In 1/8 scale, these reproductions were used as thumbnails for the final artwork:

framed 32 x 48 inch 64-piece grids of 4 x 6 inch prints assembled in formation.



Every single image was made randomly as part of another project or idea,

a vacation or domestic occurrence worthy of documentation. Never used for their

intended purpose, these pictures were left as cast-offs until the rediscovery of them

and their potential as part of this series.



By uniting pictures primarily concerned with light and color (electromagnetic energy)

in multiplicity, an amplification of the inherent vibration of each single light

image occurrs, melding them into a greater existence of one, as an optical effect.



Optical effects as such are the byproduct of the mind’s foresight into the future.

This advanced thought allows for walking through crowds, catching a ball and other

reflexive thinking along with making illusionary forms like the images of Effect Series

come to life. Here’s to the future.
