Primarily a Birmingham based Photographer and Artist. Currently completing a Fine Art degree at the Birmingham School of Art. My style of photography is mainly Fine Art based. Connar has been involved in several key projects. ‘Take Only Photographs’ being one of the most notable. Take only photographs was a project about the Iconic Birmingham Battery Building in Selly Oak. The Film was created with Living Proof Films member Dale O’Keeffe. It follows Connar’s journey through the building. Uncovering all of it secrets. For Connar and Dale the building was more than just bricks and mortar it had a life, It had a soul. They were discovering its past. From this journey Connar made his ‘Take Only Photographs’ Body of work, which includes over 1000 photographs and sculptures. More recently Connar has developed the project ‘One World One Photo’ which is known as the worlds biggest art collaboration. The idea is to bring together the talents of creative artists and non-artists alike.
