About 'Distressed'







Distressed is the beginning of a long term project documenting the frailty of memories and the lack of photographic mementos as the world buries itself firmly in the digital age. The diminishing of the solid instant reminder and the frailty of memory is explored through the use of outdated camera equipments and techniques as well employing the taboo of damaging negatives in any way possible.





Images split and alter and change with time and influence, memories have a tendency to do the same.
