In 2006, acclaimed photographer Jesmoe Q. Feesh traveled to Los Angeles and visited historic Olvera Street - the oldest street in El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula - and photographed the displays and festivities of Dia de los Muertos - the Day of the Dead. Stunning and moody Black & White photographs, shot with a combination of professional and toy cameras, place the viewer at the heart of the sacred event.
