The author of these poems, Katherine Watson (1918-2008), was a poet of deep spiritual insight and great love, especially of England and of the Catholic vision of God. Most of these moving testimonies were never published in her lifetime, but are now made available by her Literary Executor (Blurb name "Kimbo Watson"), complete with a Preface and Notes.
