"I saw this and thought of you" is a photographic travel and art project of handcrafted and personalised postcards.

Whilst travelling in India and Nepal Anna photographed things that reminded her of friends and family back home - she then turned photographic prints into postcards by hand-sewing them on to coloured paper.

Inside this book you will:

- Find the postcards - both the front image and Anna's writings about her adventures and impressions on the back;
- Find out why each person received their specific postcard;
- Experience an unusual photographic travel record of India and Nepal - instead of the more classic beautiful or documentary travel images, these images are perhaps more random and diverse, having been taken purely by virtue of the subject matter forming the connecting point between Anna and her memory of someone else;
- Discover the visual delights of a different Indian/Nepali textile on each page, as Anna photographed each postcard on top of a different fabric - be it the curtains in a hostel where she stayed, or a blanket bought to keep her warm on the train.
