iPhoneography, using the photographic capabilities of an iPhone, the name by which this is best known internationally came from the United States where any smartphone tends to be called an iPhone the same way as thirty years ago any compact camera was called a Kodak, in the days when the photographic film was the master of our memories, it was revealed to me as a form of artistic expression.
The portability and accessibility of the device that is permanent these days, coupled with the social factor of sharing images through social media and experimenting the artistic manipulation through the various applications available, make the process of creating attractive and relaxing.
The pleasure of photography combined with all these factors made this an addictive mobile photography hobby.
Sixty of these photographs were compiled in a book so I share this new way of seeing. The book is for sale in paper and digital format for iPad.
