Informazioni sull'autore
Robert Nowland, originally from Auckland New Zealand, came to Canada in the early 1970’s. Together with his new love, the Pentax Spotmatic 35mm film camera, the long journey across the Pacific Ocean soon opened up new vistas in his new home of Vancouver BC. After moving North to Prince George and then Mackenzie BC, he ultimately settled in Kamloops in 1987. Photography has always been a hobby for Robert, but in the 90’s, the Pentax finally gave way to the ever expanding world of Digital Photography. This new world has allowed him to shoot extensively while mastering the art of photography. Having images recently selected for a national competition, local Canada Day contest two year running and most recently for the BCAA calendar and a local company calendar. It has come time to share my images with the rest of the world. My first book "Kamloops British Columbia" is a collection of images taken in the town I call home. I am delighted to be sharing them with you.
