ASLA's 2008 National Specialty Show and Specialty Cluster featured an entry of 28 Sloughis, the largest Sloughi entry of any show to date in the United States. ASLA welcomed exhibitors from California, Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio and Texas. The 28 Sloughis entered hailed from five different countries (Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy and the U.S.), representing eight different breeders, making Specialty 2008 not only the largest Sloughi entry, but also breaking ASLA's 2006 record for the most diverse Sloughi entry in history.
