Informazioni sul libro
Of Time and Place - a portfolio of photographs that describe specific moments in time. Panoramic images are formed by multiple frames to create a narrative.
Shot with a digital camera in locations as remote as the Orkney Islands or as common as the Chicago River, defines a time and place.
Light, atmosphere, and a conversation between the frames of a panoramic image all add to the narrative in these pictures. I use gestures, snippets, similarities, isolated glimpses to create the work you will see within. Sometimes the work is like a dance. Sometimes the work will quietly talk to me and sometimes it shouts at me.
I hope you will enjoy the collection of images in this portfolio.

I am a working artist who taught photography, web design for artists and artist book classes full time at Northern Kentucky University and Metro State University for 41 years. I began making blurb books the first day I got a notice that blurb existed. Since then I have made quite a few for myself, gotten friends and family to make books, and used blurb when I taught my courses in artist bookmaking and photography and whenever I taught study abroad classes. Blurb democratized bookmaking for the rest of us and for that I am grateful. Thank you Eileen.
