These are pictures taken in Japan during the years of 1956 - 1955 when I was a young soldier and everything in my world was new and exciting. I was deeply curious about everything that I could see from the confines of my Army Base on Etajima. Note: means island in the Japanese language. I bought my first camera (an Agfa) and began my love affair with everything Japanese.
