Informazioni sul libro
In 1968, Andrew Geller, an architect from the nearby village of Northport, was commissioned to design a house that remained in the same family and with very few changes until it was bought thirty-six years later by the author and her husband.
The house is uniquely modern; a twelve-sided building with geometrically shaped rooms, it reveals its charms to those who seek them out and rewards every visitor with its singular design.
With a limited budget, buckets of enthusiasm and hard work, and help from professionals when needed, the new owners seek to rehab the house while preserving the original vision and design of the architect.
