My granddaughter, Ainsley's, first birthday party was a book party. She's advanced. She's my granddaughter. Guests could bring an age appropriate book or one she would read when she was twenty one. I couldn't decide which book from my "Books That Shpaed Me" list to give her so I published this book for her. Ainsley is jealous of her first edition, so you will have to buy your own copy.
We're all list makers. We make grocery lists, to-do lists, and check lists. My list making has gone wild. The eight eight lists in this book are everything from sublime to ridiculous, from inspiring to fun.
The first list I made was "Fall Things to Celebrate." Ainsley's mom read the "Things to Say/Not Say Seeing a Baby" list at the party. She could have used the "Lies to Tell When Opening Gifts" list. My mom says Ainsley will have to wait unitl she is twenty one to read "It Helps to Be Drunk When You..."
