Patrick Halm's collection of thirty works on paper is comprised of twenty-three single and seven diptych plates . The drawings are mostly simple; often with solo meandering lines and contoured shapes of pencil and color. Figures of humans and animals occasionally emerge and engage the viewer in unexpected ways. The relationships suggested in this collection are poetic, beautiful, contemplative and present the viewer with a vast essential freedom.
