"Crush" accompanies the exhibition "Four Stories" by Heather Bennett which showed in 2014 at the Stephan Stoyanov Gallery in NYC and will open in March 2015 at Bruno David Projects in St. Louis. "Crush" is a circular document; ostensibly a description of a photograph. A photograph which may not exist but is nonetheless contained within the pages of the story. There is an absence embedded in text and images leaving the viewer to wonder which came first.
