Russell J Jewett, a Corpsman attached to Lima Company 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines in 1967 created a series of books from the Command Chronologies. Each book chronicles the activities of each company for each year of 3/3s deployment during the period of 1965-69. Also included are books containing combat orders for each year and a book of honors earned by 3/3s personnel. Jewett, with his brother, Bruce A Jewett, also created a series of books containing photos produced by their grandfather during his employment working for Goodyear Lumber Company in Mendocino County, California during the early 20th century.
