Informazioni sul libro
Red River and the Rio Grande, these landmarks
have weathered scorching Texas summers, withstood blue northers and been relentlessly pounded by hail.
Their colors may fade, the rust may show, but every year adds more character to their metal skins. For many, these signs rekindle fond memories of long car trips with the family made during simpler times.
It was July 16, 2013 when Keith D. Crabtree watched the storm brewing in the distance, and left his studio early to capture the unfolding scene. While driving, he tried to visualize a foreground to pair with the menacing clouds. As it turned out, the signs at The Greenery in Waxahachie, Texas worked perfectly.
