I have been fortunate to spend many days exploring the Yellowstone Country, and recording my experiences there through photography since 1975. Writing a photo book about this vast expanse of space and time was a daunting task. So, in the spirit of eating an elephant one bite at a time, I have written Travel Tales: Yellowstone as a three volume series. This, the second volume of the series. weaves its way around and through Yellowstone, describing encounters with animals, and some of the parks geological features, but avoiding the Upper Geyser Basin. I saved the description of its world-class assemblage of geysers and other thermal features as the topic of the third volume of the series. So, once again, I invite you to share more of the many experiences I have enjoyed in the Yellowstone Country. This book is part nature guide, part travelogue, part photo collection, and part the ramblings of an old geezer not quite ready for the rocking chair!
