Informazioni sul libro
Trying to fix a computer's failed power supply leads to something else...
Technophilia & Technophobia is the visual narrative that came from a personal annoyance: a computer breakdown that happened at a critical moment. The ensuing search for the fault is documented as a series of snapshots, often abstract, of electronic components, heat sinks, circuit boards etc.; this leads to the gradual realization that the arrangement of such technological microstructures is not unlike the macrostructures of our built-up cities, road and rail networks, industry, and industrial estates. Even details such as advertising and signposting would appear to be reproduced in miniature.
Technophilia & Technophobia is a multidisciplinary adventure dedicated to all those who have suffered a similar fate at the hands of technology.
