Informazioni sul libro
Baldwin County, Ala., sits on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. Photographer Richard Nilsen has made two sets of photographs there: The first looks at Baldwin County Route 13, which runs north and south through some wild, rural and bucolic countryside; the second looks at the pitcher plant bog at Weeks Bay in the southern part of the county.
It is called "Southern Baroque," because of the neo-Baroque visual style of the photographs, and the unruly manner of the natural growth of the South.
