Since 1986 Philip Bews and Diane Gorvin have collaborated on designing and making over a hundred public artworks sited throughout the UK and internationally. They have marketed this book showing a selection of their commissions, with four different covers - each book is basically the same, but with the featured sculpture gaining an extra image. 'The Arrivall' sited on Stonehill Roundabout at the southern approach to Tewkesbury, is displayed here, along with the twenty four public artworks illustrated inside. A wide variety of materials, forms and themes were deployed by the sculptors in making their work for a range of public realm environments, as can be seen in this preview.
