Informazioni sul libro
I love interesting visuals, no matter what form they take, or where they come from. The images in this book are from a James Bondesque opening credits montage from the 1969 film, "De Sade." As one commenter on the film noted, the opening sequence was totally out of place for the time period the film takes place in which, of course, is the eighteenth century. Regardless, the Picasso-like images that occur in between the credits make for some fascinatingly disturbing images - chains through breasts where nipples should be, being torn apart by chains, burning over fire, morphing from beast to man... The forms change into images that have seemingly no connection to the image before it. And the vivid but almost monochrome color palette made me grab my camera and take the shots of the photos contained in this book.
