In 2008 my wife, Susan, and I returned to Japan for our fifth time to visit our son and his family. During this visit we went to a Sumo match, spent a week in Bangkok, visited Nikko and the snow monkey park. We also visited a number of temples and shrines in and around Tokyo.

Spence retired as a Vice President of an electric uitlity in 2003. He has a degree in biology from Florida State University. He developed a love of photography and a desire to travel when he was still in grade school. He has traveled to over 25 countries and throughout North America. He is planning to publish books on more of his travels in the near future.
