Informazioni sul libro
The concept of a photograph capturing a moment has existed ever since shutter speeds dropped below a second in the early 20th century. A photograph has long been treated an artifact to the state of a space and its inhabitants within a singular instant. Eastman Kodak ran their most successful advertising campaign based on the “Kodak Moment”. “TIME” challenges the role of the image representing only a singular state of a space. Using digital compositing techniques, images are constructed with photographs taken over varying light, weather, and seasonal conditions to represent space under an extended context.
