When newly separated college professor Thomas Finnegan offers one of his freshmen a ride home a snowy Chicago evening, he has no idea what he is getting into. He enters into a turbulent relationship with young Bailey that ruins any chances he ever had mending his broken marriage, and might even cost him his job. In the midst of all the turmoil, Thomas’ long repressed Catholic faith starts haunting him.
