Summersville Lake is called "The Little Bahamas of the East" by "Skin Diver Magazine" because of its crystal clear water, fantastic scuba diving, and beautiful landscapes. This lake is the #1 tourist attraction in West Virginia, and is the largest lake with the largest marina in the State.
This book documents with pictures the rebuilding of the Summersville Lake Marina from 2006-2009. It was a major undertaking and required a major capital investment. The engineering and logistic problems were a challenge. This book documents in high quality images the workers and their work. Today, the marina is now state-of-the-art and considered by those that spend their summers on Summersville Lake a "second home."
