The 2016 Wisconsin Artists Biennial is a juried exhibition organized by Wisconsin Visual Artists (WVA). This book is about the exhibit and includes: WVA organizer statement, jurors' statements, and images of the 52 artworks by 49 artists selected by the jurors from a pool of 335 artists and 647 artworks entered. The exhibit is at the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) in West Bend, WI, February 6 - March 27, 2016

Christine Style
Green Bay, WI USA

Christine Style is an artist with a focus on prints and drawings. In December 2018, she retired after 31 years of teaching art and design at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Style has a BS in art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MFA in printmaking from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Style has become known for her large-scale relief woodcuts often printed using a steamroller; for organizing print exchange portfolios; for bringing students to Santa Reparata School of Art printmaking space in Florence, Italy; for her teaching of printmaking, artist books and boxes, and for her leadership in Wisconsin Visual Artists.
