In my 50 year career as an architect, I have designed many building types.
I have designed schools, office buildings, factories, warehouses, playgrounds, restaurants, and housing.
I have designed housing in its many forms, from high end private house, to public housing, to housing for the elderly.
I have restored many significant buildings throughout the United States.
I purposely never specialized in a single building type, and was never a" private house" architect.
So why am I doing a book on five houses? I am doing this book because I feel it represents my basic design philosophy as an architect.
