Informazioni sul libro
British animator Arthur Humberstone (1912-1999) began his career on Halas and Batchelor’s Animal Farm in 1954 and subsequently worked on many other animated features and TV shows. Before working as an animator he produced cartoon strips for the Derby Evening Telegraph.
For the main paper Arthur illustrated Look At It This Way, a personal view of local news. All existing strips for these series have been restored and are reproduced in this full colour paperback, along with historical notes and illustrations for context.
For the weekly Saturday Football Special supplement, he drew the misadventures of Fatty and Batty, a pair of avid Derby County fans, followed by a strip looking at local sporting events. These strips are also available in a companion volume.
