Ruth's varied experiences include nursing in Pennsylvania, Illinois and Tennessee before moving to Africa to serve in missions alongside her husband, Peter. While living in Africa she rediscovered her love for teaching Bible in whatever venue was open to her. Whether working in African, British or American schools, writing curriculum, teaching adult groups, working in an international kindergarten, or serving in the local church her love for the Bible energized her teaching ministry. After returning to the USA, Ruth's job as Minister to Women in a local church afforded many opportunities for teaching, speaking, counseling, and developing leaders. Now retired, Ruth is enjoying writing, teaching Bible studies, and speaking. She has been married 48 years and has 3 adult children who, along with their wonderful spouses, have given her 7 grandchildren.
