My father, the painter, Leo Edwin Ames grew up in Heyburn, Idaho with a magnificent view of the Sawtooth mountains from his front yard. He became a professional graphic designer, photographer and illustrator, working his full career at the University of Idaho as director of publications. Throughout the years he retuned many times to the Magic Valley area and paint the Sawtooths. This is a small collection of those paintings.
