Informazioni sul libro
A Journey of a Thousand Words takes a unique look at an enduring journal across continents which speaks in two languages; photography and poetry. The author's Photoetry is more than images and words. It is the melding of two mediums speaking loudly for the emotional journey of love, passion and discovery of the world we live in. Erik Hawkinson portrays his art as colorful existence with the lyrics exposing the senses to all that was there when the photo transpired with the raw emotions one might see in the image themselves. There are many books that portray photography with words of creative descriptions, but only a few speak as if they were created together; distinctive in inspiration, not as separate entities defining each other. Each page encapsulates the rhythm of poetry with the fluidity of a short story. One may take you to a place forgotten, while another brings you to an undiscovered place. Either way, this journey will be something you will share with others in your life
