Through pictures and words this book is an attempt to preserve and share my journey during the summer of 2007 around the United States and Canada. Equipped with only a modest amount of supplies and not much in the way of a plan, I embarked from my home in Grand Rapids, MI. unaware of the adventures that would follow. I had the support of my friends and family behind me as I left responsibility behind to spend a summer free of deadlines, appointments, or meetings. All that lay ahead was the open road.
