Growth. Progression. Maturity. All elements in which we endure every moment and step in our daily lives. Sometimes it is realized, other times it is not. But nonetheless it is an essential part of humanity. Reflection of Us is a visual book that displays those elements. From the two perspectives of Louis Carr and Sterling Scott, both gifted and talented photographers in their own right, artists and friends, this title is a reflection of them as black men; how they see themselves, one another and to a greater extent other black men. This book pays homage to elements in black culture, as well as the profound respect and dignity that Carr and Scott have for each other, as friends and as black creatives.
