Informazioni sul libro
Gerry Cunningham, founder of GERRY Mountaineering, was a remarkable man. Born in 1922, he was a college dropout who became an expedition outfitter, inventor, sewing wizard, piton maker, tent designer, free-thinker, feminist, environmental writer, sailor, chart-maker, dome-builder, and off-the-grid guy long before it became popular. He is one of the most important Pioneers in the history of modern outdoor gear.

Oregon-Washington, USA

My FIVE Blurb books combine many of my passions. The lure of beautiful, innovative outdoor gear drove me into the history of the industry and its colorful founders. The fun was in the researching, writing, photographing, and tracking down mysteries. This is the kind of work I enjoy the most. www.Historyofgear.com Please visit my www.Oregonphotos.com website, where you can simply click the "About Us" button to access a complete 2 page Biography of me!
