The Cascade Mountains and Puget Sound are a beautiful and serene place to be in autumn. The mountains, streams, and the sound form a stunning landscape, which combined with the changing colors, and dramatic weather patterns create a mesmerizing place to hike and contemplate life. This book shows a series of fine art photographs created during the fall of 2012. The locations extend along the Cascades from Mt Baker to Mt Rainier and from the eastside to Puget Sound. Fall colors come first to the high mountains and then gradually emerge along the slopes and in the valley. As Mother Nature changes her wardrobe from subtle greens to reds and yellows, we are able to see a completely different landscape. Follow the progression of colors as you visit this landscape and enjoy the tranquil settings. In these fine art photographs, I have tried to capture the wonder and magnificence of this spectacular landscape.
