Informazioni sul Ebook
This book documents the experiences of the author who emigrated from Egypt in 1968, after the six day war with Israel forced the government to allow people to leave the country, and his wonderful experiences in Texas after enduring discrimination during his 38 years in Egypt. The book is written partly to shed some light on the plight of those Christians who are still suffering in the Middle East. While the subject is serious, it is interspersed with personal anecdotes, humor and drama. The author is a retired architect who has authored books about architectural technology, the future of urban transportation and is currently writing a book about how to transform slums into islands of hope.
