We (David Emery and Freddie Marsh) were both working in the travel industry as sales people (Dave – El Cid Resorts & Realistic Asia; Freddie – Playa Resorts) and we found ourselves not working when the pandemic hit. Travel ground to a halt. We decided to use our unexpected time off to get out, explore and document our local communities and parks in British Columbia.
